More than other subjects, I am a painter of landscapes. Landscape is the nexus for the spokes supporting a sphere of personal exploration. All but one of the featured paintings are watercolours, though I have often used other mediums to articulate the world of Nature that my eyes and being constantly gravitate to.
These landscapes are drawn mainly from imagination, though several in the group are the result of direct observation. Painting en-plein-air is dynamic, in that all facilities are vitally engaged in response to surroundings.
The heart in my eyes is forever enriched by the beauty in the physical world, with its manifold expressions of ever-changing light and form. Landscape is a doorway to the Eternal.
